Get ready to explore the vibrant city of Tirana like never before — on two wheels! This guided bike tour takes you through the heart of Albania’s capital, blending history, culture, nature, and modern life in a dynamic half-day experience. From the iconic Skanderbeg Square to the tranquil paths of the Artificial Lake, and the trendy streets of Blloku, you’ll uncover the city’s most fascinating corners, both old and new.

As part of this tour, you’ll cycle through scenic boulevards, visit must-see landmarks, and even have the chance to explore a Cold War-era bunker museum. Whether you’re a history lover, a street art enthusiast, or just curious about daily life in Tirana, this tour is designed to give you a rich and local perspective.

9:00 – Meet & Greet
Meeting Point: Near Skanderbeg Square or New Bazaar (Pazari i Ri).
Meet your guide, do a quick safety check of bikes and gear.
9:15 – Tour Kickoff: Skanderbeg Square Loop
Cycle Through: Skanderbeg Square.
See: National History Museum Et’hem Bey Mosque Clock Tower Opera House
Learn about Tirana’s Ottoman roots and communist-era architecture.
9:30 – Ride Along the Main Boulevard
Head down Dëshmorët e Kombit Boulevard, Tirana’s most iconic street.
Pass By:Government buildings National Art Gallery University of Tirana Youth Park Mother Teresa Square
Enter the park via the university side or the new park entrance. Enjoy a relaxing ride along the lakeside with views of Tirana’s skyline. Stop at key points for scenic photos and explanations about the park’s history and local culture. 10:30 – Coffee Break (Optional)
Break at a lakeside café like “Mullixhiu” or “Mon Cheri”. Experience local coffee culture or grab a refreshing drink.
11:00 – Blloku District Ride into Blloku, once restricted to the communist elite. Now: Tirana’s most modern area with cafés, boutiques, and street art.
Pass the former residence of Enver Hoxha (can stop and talk about the regime). See examples of modern urban transformation.
11:30 – Bunk’Art 2 (Optional Stop) Cycle to Bunk’Art 2, just off Skanderbeg Square. Visit the underground Cold War-era bunker museum. Learn about Sigurimi, political persecution, and life under dictatorship.
12:30 – New Bazaar (Pazari i Ri)
Ride into this revamped market area. See vibrant food stalls, artisan shops, and street vendors.
Optional stop to try local snacks or fruit. 12:50 – Street Art & Colorful Facades Pass by Wilson Square, Lana River, and neighborhoods with painted communist-era buildings. Stop at a few murals or installations to discuss Tirana’s creative identity.
13:15 – End of Tour
Return to the starting point or wherever is most convenient.
